Cost of UK registration - Italian 911 S MY2009

I have found a 997.2 S in the continent on Italian plates and I am looking to buy it and drive it to the UK for registration (I live in London). Anybody can help what sort of documents do I need and how much is it going to cost me? Thanks.

You'll need:
1) the Certificate of Conformity for the EU, which Porsche Italy should be able to provide (otherwise try any OPC here)
2) an MOT (I don't know if the headlights can be pointed the right way for over here to comply, if not you'll need new RHD ones). The MOT test can be done without a registration number by using the VIN (chassis number).
3) a DVLA first registration form (search www.dvla.gov.uk - guidance notes are there and forms can be downloaded) - the first registration fee is £55.
4) you'll have to buy road tax at the same time, likely to be £490/year (as per a UK 2009 911).

So, besides the normal costs of MOT & tax here, the only cost could be just £55 unless headlights need changing.

I am sure the headlights can be switched. So as goose says the costs are minimal.
