When mine went it very occasionally had a longer travel than usual, which would recover with a pump.

Was like that for quite a while before it went to the floor once when I braked hard. I shouldn't have left it so long....

Hi Mate...Here is a link..I have used this guy for quite a few bits..You might be able to get it cheaper but i couldnt find any anywhere else at the time..Also check your servo for operation..If its leaking air then the seal is knackered, You should be able to hear it hissing in the footwell when you press the pedal..Or push on the pedal and start the car..If it drops then its ok..if it doesnt then its not pressurising..Mine went after replacing the BMC...Still looking for someone to refurb the servo as its an early capri one thats been modified by TVR...Cheers...Ziga

Ouch - 50 quid! I take it the seal kits are pointless are they - as it's likely (as with the clutch) that the barrel is worn?

seal kit MIGHT work, depending upon how bad the wear is, and whether it's leaking becuase the rubber seals are knackered, but generally it's better (and safer) to get a new cylinder....

Seal kits also only tend to work for a limited time in master cyls...in my experience anyway.

I just had a look at mine and it looks right - assuming there is one pipe take-off you can't see underneath the end of the cylinder. Hard to tell this detail from the photo. Let us know if it fits!
