Focus Edge - Struggling to determine correct paint colour
Discussion
Hi chaps,
I have a 2004 Focus Edge 3 door and it's a silvery grey colour. I want to touch up a area under the sill where someone has jacked it up in the wrong place and it's cracked the paint off.
It looks to be painted in the same colour as the body judging by the rest of it that's ok. I can't find out what Ford called the paint, despite a lengthy Google.
The logbook says grey but the dealer I bought it from said silver. There must be an official name and code for it so I can order some to touch it up?

Look for you vin plate (possibly inside your door shuts) They'll be a series of boxes with numbers/letters etc inside) Look on the the left side at the smaller boxes, second from the bottom will be the code to your body colour.
If in doubt, phone the Service Dept at a Ford dealer, give them your reg number and they'll give you the code.
