Poverty Pork (944)

Evening all!
Last time i posted i had just bought this on ebay:

Did this up over the course of 2 months and sold for 100% profit!
Now fancying myself as a bit of a wheeler dealer (Brewer!), i have recently moved onto the nxt project. Ebay called again and i put in a cheeky bid for a 1989 S2 Porsche 944
Was it cheap? Yes - i havent seen a cheaper S2 3.0 for a long time!
Good points
Huge amount of history and receipts
Engine pulls well
Sills appear to have been replaced
Top end rebuild - cam chain etc 10k ago
Interior is pretty clean
Mot'e
Bad points
Its seen a lot of paint in its time and the whole car had nasty, cloudy look to it
Some bodywork scabs
238k miles!!
So, ive had it two weeks and what have i done?
- driven it hard - the 50/50 weight distribution is fantastic!
- all wheels refurbed
- bought myself a DA polisher (spent too much time on detailingworld) and hit the bodywork with Meguiars 205 and 105 compound
All i can say is that the car is transformed cosmetically!
I then bought some spray paint to tidy the sills and a patch on the bumper. Im pretty happy with the result.
Some pics from tonight (ot was dark so only place was multistorey!)

So it now joins the CL and the SL on the drive. Cant decide whether to see on and pocket a few quid for next project or go on my first track day!
Cheers
Simon
