Sad to see him leave F1 but i look forward to seeing him at Le Mans next year.

I think it is the right move for him, he seem happy there and (regardless of what you think of the RB team) they have a clear number 1 driver who they will back above him.

Not a shock. I'm sad that he didn't win the championship a few years ago (2010?) when he was really close to doing so but Seb overtook him on points right at the end, and he seems to have had a fair bit of bad luck lately. Nice guy.

It was a done deal back in April, Radio Le Mans broke the story. F1 scribblers dismissed it, because they know best and all that

whilst i would love to see Kimi in a more competitive car, to me he is not the type to be sub serviant to Vettel. . .i reckon a younger gun will get that seat. . . i have never sen what all the fuss is about with paul di resta, but surely it would be a good route out of the mid field teams for someone like him. . or perhaps a switch for Hulkenburg

I agree my guess would be Daniel Ricciardo moving up from Toro Rosso he seems to be doing a solid job this year.

Bernie wants it that's for sure. It would pick up interest in F1 again. Lotus are screwed. The have to keep Grojean for continuity (hence why they've not been too vocal about how crap he is) and they don't have anyone who's even got some of the potential to be in F1 lined up.
