Saw the bucketlander today
Discussion
While driving home from quick work meeting, passed a car park and looking over, i saw a dark blue 3 door freeby.
Thought, "looks clean and tidy, and similar to my old one" Got closer and had a glance at the reg... did a double take.
Drove on, found a junction and turned round to have a 2nd look. Yep, Reg ZLK. With the terrible 3 spoke "evolution" alloys.
My old car. Thought that bugger was gone to Edinburgh, never to be seen again.
Felt a small ping of sadness at seeing it, then i remembered the colossal wallet raping it gave me, and that it needed about £1500+ to get right when i threw in the towel and bid it farewell..
No more sadness.
Patted the Disco and drove home, content at finally having a LR that doesn't take my wallet to the cleaners, apart from the fuel bills....

Yeah, it's finally dry.
Tiger is almost dryed out as well I think!
That drive home on Sunday wasn't a fun experience till after aviemore when it dried up.
The Disco is proving very reliable, only had a few wear and test related issues from it having 108k on the clock.
Otherwise it drinks diesel and runs, no complaints about that.
