Come on then, what weird and wonderful combos do you like to get as a treat?
Personally I love a cheese and marmite sarnie. SWMBO thinks I'm weird but I suspect there are crazier combos out there!
What have got?

Bread and butter...the weird bit is that I find such a common combination a treat. biggrin

Cheese and Marmite isn't all that weird either, not for me anyway. Just polished off a Spinach, Cheese and Marmite Omelette for my dinner. thumbup

I bought a jar of sliced gherkins a few days ago to put in a sandwich - Roast beef, cheese, tomato and gherkin, to be precise. Then, once the beef ran out, I had a gherkin sandwich. Then the bread ran out and now I'm snacking on the things straight out the jar.
I feel like I'm slowly going crazy, but they're so good.

I'm not a big fan of Marmite, but I do love to take some toast, butter it liberally, then spread it with Bovril. A few slices of that with a massive mug of tea... breakfast of kings smile

Also... Chuckie Egg. Had it as a kid, still sometimes make it as an adult. Take a still warm hard boiled egg (or two), peel and place in a cup with a large knob of butter, then attack with a knife until you have coarse eggy, buttery paste. Salt liberally, give it a stir, then eat straight from the cup with a teaspoon. So simple, yet utterly delicious!

+1 much prefer bovril on toast, on cheese on toast and on heavily buttered toasted crumpets than marmite.

That sounds good. May try spreading on a slice of crusty loaf.

I love a poppy seed cracker with salted butter spread on it. Doesn't even need cheese. Throw in some crumbly, acidic Lancashire though, and I'm in heaven.

I always keep real butter on hand for such occasions.

I've been told I'm weird for liking roast chicken, cucumber and ketchup sandwiches.

My lass also thinks I'm weird for liking ham and peas pudding sandwiches, pah, she calls herself a northerner?!

I tried a savaloy dip the other day. Seriously filthy. Wasn't all that keen on that.

It's a Saveloy, stuffing, pease pudding and mustard sarnie!

An example of which can be found on the website of the very store I got it from...

A 10-fish finger sandwich. I need to up the ante and go 15 as 10 isn't that many calories (if you were to compare it to a dirty kebab takeaway).

Similar, but with a runny soft boiled egg or two. Piece of buttered toast with marmalade, cut into little squares and tossed about with the egg, either in a large mug, or a bowl. Yum indeed!

The top of the bun is dipped in the brine from the savaloys - I'm drooling just thinking about it.
