When I bought my car it would scream at me if I went anywhere near a speed camera over the limit for that camera. After 18 months or so it stopped doing so, and I eventually removed the gubbins that lead me to realise that the PO have SafeSpeed installed, but the subscription had presumably expired.
Their site suggests that if I could take over the subscription it would cost £124 pa in fees.
I like the fact it updates its camera map via a GSM link, and that it is so insistent. However I don't like the subscription business model, are there any more cost effective options?

If you have a SatNav or a Smart Phone then look at pocket gps world Camera Alerts (TomTom have a camera alert option - but I find less accurate)
