A bruised elbow.

Maybe it's just me and my admittedly boney elbows but after two long trips, I find the design of the centre console rather lacking - there seems to be a big bit of metal where my elbow wants to go.

I thought I read somewhere that an optional extra was an elbow rest, but not sure now if I imagined that or not after a few beers. Anyone know anything about these, or do I need to keep the bit of rag I currently have stuffed in there.

I think I am right in saying that the later models that have the metal cup holders at the front of the arm rest, came with a leather module that fits in one side of the cup holder. This prevents the elbow from being hurt on the metal cup holder. It should be the same colour as the arm rest and I don't think it is an optional extra.

Or you can remove the armrest and replace it with the much more comfortable 2007MY one.

The metal cup holder can be folded back into the storage area under the arm rest lid.

Jockers will be along shortly as he has strong opinions
I have the £100 elbow rest and it works well especially with the Sports Shift

A friend of mine was quoted a comically large amount to do this.

Wherever it was I first saw them mentioned, the guy said he ordered one for £35. Thought it sounded a bit cheap. Still, £100 to prevent sore elbows...

In for a penny, in for pound I suppose!
