Hi myself and SWMBO are staying here as we are watching the Athletics tomorrow but there is no bar at the travel lodge and I'm bored so What to do?

Get a taxi or bus into Birmingham and go to Brindley Place.

Get a taxi into Sutton Coldfield would be the other option....there are some nice restaurants/bars there.

This. Quick and easy to get to and navigate. Plenty of eateries on offer to suit most tastes.

I'd recommend starting with a few bevs/cocktails in Bank before hitting Piccolino or Cielo for some scran - although it would be prudent to book a table beforehand.
