A/C, Cooling - advice sought from the collective
Discussion
Evening,
So spent the afternoon trying to get the f'n leaking oil cooler off - utter ba$3&*d!!!
Anyhow, having been unable to get the top bolt by the VIN plate off because the nut underneath isn't captive (!?!) I stripped the radiator off to get a spanner on it - which made no difference as the crap quality hex bolt stripped out, so ill have to drill it off... I digress... Having taken the main radiator off I find that my A/C radiator is toast, there are bits literally hanging off it and the top coupling has split off it. Needless to say the A/C wasn't working. So question - the A/C radiator provides protection for the main radiator, if I strip all the A/C off the car is there any alternative to protect the radiator? I think not all Cerbs had A/C, those that didn't, did they have an alternative way to protect the main rad?
Still haven't got the bloody oil cooler off either

never seen a rad beeing protected if a/c is missing. however, if you want "protection" this is probably the best solution as mentioned above.
