Lydden Hill - 29\6
Discussion
I hear from someone who went that there was a Porsche that came on the back of a (rather nice) trailer, looked the part, crashed on the out lap and was promptly put back on the trailer.
Then an equally 'prepped' Volvo estate also crashed without completing a lap.
Now I love Lydden, in fact my saxo was the car in the photo of their mail-shot email for this track day, but some days there are some real loons there who just can't drive.
Then again, all tracks attract a few nutters with too much money and not enough skill.
I'll probably be there in September but not sure if i'll take my Z3 Coupe round or not.
It was an odd day. I saw more broken cars (due to damage) than at all my other track days combined.
I doubt I'll be heading back to be honest, it's a nice little circuit and I enjoyed the elevation changes, but too many numpties for my liking!
One guy span it 3 times in 4 laps and the organisers didn't seem to mind this...

I went there today, great morning, my first time on semi-slicks, maybe too aggressive!
sadly a friend of mine didn't fair so well!
Also a sad end for an MG ZR
Some great cars, a real mixture of cheap hot hatches, scoobys, old ford escorts and various race prepped single seaters.
Still not sure I'd bring an expensive car there!
