Can anyone enlighten me here on what the M400 is like to drive vis-a-vis a 3R. Is there a noticeable difference. If so in what way.
Cheers.
Chris.

Yep, it's different. Drove the Mole Valley demonstrator briefly. If there is space to put your foot down, the power is noticeably up on the 3R (I originally was astonished by the performance of my 3R, but am getting used to it). For road use however, there is more than enough power in the other models - on the track there will be an advantage. This has been covered in other threads and driver ability is going to be more important when lapping.
For the road the main advantage lies in the improved gear change which is lighter and less liable to baulk, as well as the turning circle which is a vast improvement on the other models. The ride was not noticeably different in the short time I drove the car.
I prefered the seats, but you do need to be a bit on the skinny side to get your buttocks in! Was not that convinced that moving the seat towards the mid-line has made that much difference.
The car is now the same price as I paid for my 3R with all the track options, so it looks relatively much better value. If only I had waited until after the price drop!
