Another Happy Newbie
Discussion
I'm the very new happy owner of a 2004 E46 M3. I've had a TVR Chimeara for the last six years but it was getting to be unreliable I decided it was time for a change. It had to be a a more usable convertible with a big engine and a manual box with a price tag of about £10,000.
Having ruled out Boxters, Z4s, 350Zs and Audis it had to be a 3 series 330 or M3. Having looked at a few, and been out with an M3 owner who gave good advice I settled on this M3. One owner until last May with a full BMW history, 63,000 miles and a recent "no holds barred" respray. I bought it from a panel beater/sprayer who resprayed it Aston Marin "morning frost pearl" with gunmetal wheels to show off his professional abilities and he's done a truly 1st class job. The only problem is that it's meant to be a weekend car on a limited mileage policy for my use, but I keep finding excuses to take it out in the week and the wife wants to drive it as well!.
