Carbon Fibre TVR Wheel centres (pics)
Discussion
My wheels are dark anthracite and I thought black wheel centres would be too dark, and didn't fancy the others I could find - so I had a go at creating my own!
Purchased a piece of flexible carbon fibre - and cut out 4 circles with a scalpel. Then thanks to user Cockey (http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1293063) letting me know about a TVR keyring he had spotted I got in touch with the guy who made them - and he kindly designed me some 55mm in width with no loop for keyring.
I wanted to ensure they would be durable and thanks to TVR Ecosse's Barry he gave me a heads up on a polyurethane doming system I could use. It was pretty simple (if a little messy due to my inexperience!) and I'm really happy with the end result.
