Looking at covering my steering wheel in alcantana, but has anyone gone this route:

It seems a bit expensive and I'm not sure now it would look (air bag) but I'm tempted...............

Odd. My steering wheel seems to work fine.
Find the suede/alcantana a nicer feel. We have one on the Funcup car and after driving my mates GT2 I prefer the feel, it also causes less sweat than the standard wheel. I like the way Hollowpockets has gone, for me alcantana has a great quality about it, Jetstreams seats were also on my
list.......Adrian W said:
But £ for £ the most cost effective weight saving you can get, of course other than replacing the driver with a little bloke
Standard wheel was over 2KG heavier than the 350gram reverie item, also agree the standard wheel is bad for sweaty palms, alcantara has a good grip and feel to it.I've managed to loose 3kg over the past 4 weeks too
never realised something as tasty as pizza could have such terrible weight gain effects. LolGassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

I have more than a head start on most folk when it comes to lack of weight! Speaking of which you up for a Jolly Cigar on Wednesday?
