I am currently a field service technician for a valve company and I need to further my career and have a bit more of routine in my life as well as a better salary. I'm ex armed forces and did my apprenticeship there too. Did the usual recruitment agencies and big companies and not much luck but does anyone know any companies or projects that are hiring?

Im currently in the RN, and will be looking to go offshore in 3 years, I have a family friend who is ex Navy and is now a superintendant or higher and has worked for Sonsub and now works for Saipem?!? ?!?! not sure on the rank structure in offshore work, anyway he gave me a contact (on my work email) who works for Saipem, and is always looking for ex forces people to recruit into the industry. You'll have to wait until i get into work to retrieve it if you want it.
