I must add that I had very little to do with it other than paying the bills......in my mind my mechanic was a bloody genius given what he had to start with and he bought very little for the project. In fact other than some indicators, tyres and a fuel filter bowl it is almost 100% recomissioned original. Also a testament to Lagonda engineering that it runs so beautifully.

Got a soft spot for Lagondas, a mate of mine has an LG45 Special that's like a gigantic Caterham and a V12 short chassis DHC.

He's gone to live in France now and taken the cars with him, we had some epic blasts to Goodwood and Shelsley in them.

Dammit. I'm getting old.
