Had a nasty accident, just got of hospital (warning gory)

On Thursday I went for a bike ride with my brother. We were riding through the trails and got quite deep into the forest. My brother turned to me after climbing a big hill and said "have you ever been down here it's really fast". I replied "no".
I knew was a bad idea as soon as I started following. The trail got really fast very fast, there were lots of jagged corners and all of a sudden I hit a bit of wood that was on the ground making the bike unstable, I then hit a rock making the bike jump. I hit a tree head-on with my left side, it instantly crushed my hand and broke my shoulder and hit my head, I then fell off the bike down a 15- 20 foot sheer drop landed on my head and then eventually bouncing into a river where i was fully submerged . My brother picked me out and helped me up the hill and thats when I saw my leg. I had surgery yesterday and also need it on my hand. Had a bad concussion. Sorry if i spelled anything wrong after all my hands broken!

The hospital took my dressings off yesterday And managed to pull every single hair out of my leg, That hurt more than my accident!

I used to go mountain biking but was always very cautious on downhill sections. If you take your brain out then be prepared for the consequences. Too many stories (guy at work just had 5 weeks off work shattering his eye socket on a downhill crash & burn) Correct body protection required when undertaking this activity at the very least!

I've never felt comfortable going downhill fast on a bike and this is probably the reason why
