Cleaned mine and when I tried to put it back on the bleeding thing popped off and down the back of the engine block. Can I find it - no. Looked for ages, had a grabber down there, not on the floor so assume its bounced out by now.

Hi Paul, most 4x4 Land Rover outlets will do them, e.g. LR SERIES 4x4, the first link is for the foam filter the second for the plastic housing:

As I run a classic Defender also, I find that I can get a lot of service items from my usual Landy outlets, quite often a lot cheaper. For about £3 you will have both foam and housing.

Recently bought one from Rimmer Bros for not very much (I was also getting some other bits so postage was not a concern)
