Has anyone found a way of dealing with that annoying rubber seal on the roof which I keep banging out of its groove when I get in and out? Evey few weeks, I go to the trouble of re-feeding the entire length along the groove - is there a way of fixing it without covering everything in sikaflex or other gunge?

I know this is a common problem because every other Tusc I see has that bit of trim coming loose. Thanks.

Glad it's not just me - but I haven't sorted mine yet - interested to hear the responses!

Aaaah! and I thought it was me being old and clumsy!!

In the end I used superglue, absolutely fed up with having to re-clip the rubber at what seemed like very regular intervals.

Hmm - I was hoping to avoid superglue. It's a bit permanent and I have visions of smearing it everywhere while I try to slide the rubber back in. Any other suggestions?

>>That's what you want isn't it - permanent??

I just put 'blobs' in as I eased rubber into channel.
I didn't take the seal completely out, but used a piece of wood about 8MM square shaped to a 'soft' blade with a rounded end.
Locate the inner shoulder of rubber into retaining channel, blob the superglue, then, squeezing the rubber with the wood, push the outside shoulder into the outer retaining channel.

I've had this on my Tuscan for 6 months...and the rubber has stayed put.
