Birds destroying my paintwork

Keep getting lots of bird poo all over my car, have to repeatedly clean it and every few hours the car is being targeted.

Problem happens at home and work as both are rather green areas.

Any ideas for deterrents short of putting a cover on at home and at work?

We've got about a dozen swift/swallow/house martin nests in our courtyard and they use the 911 for target practice. I've just had the full Gtechniq treatment done on it and the pooh now either just skites off or falls off as soon as you show it a wet cloth. As an extra added bonus, the cats now ricochet as well :-) Recommended. I don't use a cover as you need the car to be dry before you put the cover on and that's a pretty tall order in Scotland!

Give your'e car a good detail 1-2 days worth and the bird mess will sit ontop of the wax wont even sit on the paint and in future it will just wash off with a hose.

I had the same problem... the tree lost a few limbs. I expect karmic payback in another life.

Can we have some elaboration on the gtechnich and also what 1-2 days of detail entails?
