Are there London people having an empty seat, going to and from BBWF for both nights? According to the plane schedule, I'll be landing on Gatwick airport at 09:10 on Friday morning and leaving from Heathrow 18:40 on Sunday evening. On Friday I'm not in any special hurry and I don't mind if I'll need to get to London central oslt to stand by for some time, but on the other way I'd like to get to the airport an hour, maybe to before the plane should leave. Naturally I'll be sharing the travel expenses also and naturally it would be super-cool to get a wedgy ride smile. I already know that Mr. Zig might have an empty seat on Delilah, but he wasn't yet sure so I'm asking others also.

Please PM me if you have a ride available, thanks smile.

Hi Eero..Gatwick is a bit out of my way but if you can possibly get an earlier flight and then make your way via train from gatwick to lewisham train station then i can pick you up and take you to the fest..The train journey takes about an hour and i was planning to travel up with hallsie at around 10-10.30am...If he can wait until 11.15-11.30am then your flight in will be ok and i will meet you at lewisham train station..I normally leave on the sunday at around 12 noon and shall pass heathrow on the way home..You might be lucky and get a lift to and from the fest in delilah..Unless anyone is coming from sussex on the friday?..Cheers...Ziga

Hi Mark.

Yeah, true, Gatwick is a bit off, but that's the earliest Flight I could realistically catch to get to London. All the flights to Heathrow are either with insane changes and still arriving much later and/or freaking expensive.

Hi Mark.

There seems to be a Gatwick Express, which brings me in 30 mins to Victoria station. I'm pretty sure I can find a decent way to get to Lewisham from there. Google Maps suggests a busline which should take ~25 mins, so I should be able to get from Gatwick to Lewisham in under 1,5 hours, including some safety buffer, ie. being there somewhere around 10:30 - 10:45 am.

I'll run as fast as I can for the parts I can fasten the journey that way smile. Unfortunately I can't benefit the airplane speed biggrin.
