Steering don't feel right when going fast

Hi just picked up my 997 turbo can some one tell me why the steering get very light when tanking it down the motorway is this normal thanks for any info that might help me

When I get to 100 + the steering just gets lighter and lighter?

Get a Merc turbo D they are faster and more stable.

Perhaps your car was calibrated by the same people who did your PC

Shouldn't go light, get the geo / tyres checked.

The car is spot on it just don't feel right when your tanking it the steering should get heavier not lighter right?

Get the tyre pressures checked and the geo checked

I had similar issue a while back (feeling unstable at motorway speeds), turned out to be dodgy alignment which had caused rears to wear on the inside edge. At speed, this resulted in feeling unstable / light at the front end. New rears + 4 wheel alignment sorted it. Now it's very stable above 100 (KMH).

Yes, precisely....the national speed limit is 70 MPH on a motorway. Shall we re-start the Merc diesel thread ?
