air intake wanted

Hey is there anyone out here who has a spare air intake (think thats its name)? i will include a picture , as mine has a bad air leak and i think the car will be running alot better with a new one . i know Mr Zig has a sharp looking one he made , are you going to make more Zig ? or whats the org one from? cheers Bob
Hi Mate..Its originally off of a Capri mk3 2.8i or a sierra 2.8i and granada 2.8i..It is indeed the air intake hose..I did use a silicone elbow and two small pieces of stainless steel exhaust pipe..I cut about 2" off each end of the elbow and attached one to the throttle body and the other to the sensor plate cover and used the steel pipe as joiners to the elbow..As a temporary option you could use either silicone tape or amalgamating tape although its quite expensive..Especially this side of the water..Just keep the overlap tight and it should seal any splits..I did think about making some but they were not cheap..I might look into it again though..I will have a good look online to see if i can find one..You never know...Cheers...Ziga
