I need to choose ecm and tuning software for my future cammed ls3.
EFI hp (http://www.holley.com/550-603.asp) look really nice package and have "self learning" future (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwkqjotkDJQ), have wideband lambda instead mass which is great, but cost 1500$, dont have throttle pedal in kit etc. EFI HP have much smaller harness than gm and is 14lbs lighter.
GMPP controller kit have all in one solution but many people tell me that is hard to tune. Cost 1100$ and with hp tuners this is around 1800$. More than holley efi hp.
My engine need to pass some emission test like lambda 0.97-1.03 and CO max 0.3% and I need tuning package which can deal with this. Of course exhaust will have cats.
Maybe is on market some other solutions? I dont have at this time any tuning experience.

thanks

Depends on your budget.
DTA, Emerald, Omex, Motec, Haltech to name a few

There have been a few people with a hot camshaft in LS3's that have had difficulty getting them to pass emission tests.

Your best bet would be to find someone with a rolling road and experience with tuning the LS3 and getting their advice on which ECU to go for.

Good luck

You look like you are stateside, so probably a wealth of aftermarket tuners to spend your hard earned with.
Try to find an ECU that is easy to get support for in your location.

I am from Croatia and this is biggest problem. Here we dont have any experience with this. OK, here we have some tuners around which deal with corvettes but I want to learn about all alternatives.

Canems or Megasquirt .......
The former, well into development has great on-going support ... M-S has one or two very good sources in the US for pre-built units, looms, base maps and live tuning help....

ECU-ECM's can be black-art price-inflated..........beware and G-luck.

If you haven't yet purchased the engine I would buy a standard unit, get it registered then add the cam and any other changes. Much easier route to follow.

To get it up and running quickly, and to pass the testing, I would look into JEGS. They have their own Engine control kits that are literally "plug and go".
Here is one of them:
