Hi gents,
my Sagaris power steering is leaking a lot now and so I have to overhaul it.
I know that Cerbera powersteering racks are made by TVR.
I heared rumours that the speed 6 power steering rack are made by Ford ? and Peugeot ?

who can tell me the true ?

kind regards
William

I think they're all TVR specials.

Have you tried using Lucas power steering stop leak. Before I get shot down in flames on this - I'm generally sceptical about these types of seal swell agents, but had a leak on my T350 and wanted to give it a try due to the threads on here about rebuilt racks being just as leaky as before. Took off and replaced the gaiters and put in about 100mL of stop leak and that was enough to cure the leak - not leaked a drop since and behind the gaiters is still bone dry.

There is some conflicting info on whether to use this in an ePAS system - but I think it is fine if you are not putting the whole quart bottle in - the main issue as far as I'm aware is that the fluid viscosity increase a lot when you add the whole bottle.

Worked a treat for me.

If its really bad then replace or refurb are the only real options. Problem too is that getting the rack out of the sag and then back again isn't a walk in the park either!!
