Ultima track day

Talking to Paul B at Le man and I mentioned I am organising a Track day for us Noble owners , he seemed to think a few of you Ultima guys might be interested so here are the details :

Silverstone Saturday the 7th September
international circuit
Goldtrack are the organiser
cost is £329 for the full day although I am waiting for a discount code

noise limit is 105 drive by so should be ok for everyone .
Very safe track and good fun .
if anyone needs any more details just shout .
start a list so I can keep an eye on numbers .

I have sent a invite to the Ultima factory as well .

Great news as a former Ultima owner it would be great to see a few Ultimas there and the more same type cars we get on track the safer it is for us all . Have e-mailed factory to see if they would like to attend .

hahahahah with standard exhaust im 116dp static at 4200 rpm.. do they do a static test as well or just drive - by?

Just drive by , I've never been static tested at Silverstone in all the years I have been going .

Paul B you have not got time to post on here get cracking !!!!

Ne response from the Ultima factory unfortunately but it would be nice to see a few Ultimas there !!

Hi Dom , great to see you there , I will post up a discount booking code as soon as I have one , keep chasing people the more the merrier bags a few passenger laps .
Unfortunately I have had confirmation from the Ultima factory that they cannot attend which is a great shame .

No problems Dom , will let you know about garage cost and a booking code as soon as I have all the info . We are in the Wing pits so plenty of space . .

Just to let you guys know Michelin and Protyre will be attending in there support truck so anybody who needs any help with tyre setup or new tyres can get the help they need . we will be testing the Pilot Sport Cups if anybody wants to come over for a chat .

That should be interesting to see how they work on an Ultima...

If they did suitable sizes, very similar to the Kumhos I'd say, just more £££.

I have found the main improvement is the time they stay good on track , with the Toyo 888's the rears would go off after 3 laps at Spa in the warm weather thus ending the session , the Cups take a bit longer to warm up but after that hang on for as many laps as you can do .
Much to my amazement they have lasted a lot longer as well , guess its down to the different compound across the tyre .

Not sure they will have stock of the Michelins to fit a Ultima with them but if anyone is interested in a set I will give them a shout , they have just done us a good deal on a group buy for the Noble forum .

I might be looking at switching to mitchelins however I want to goose these tyres first..

do they do sport cups in ultima sizes?

Just about there with discount code , hopefully have booking code and details early next week . what size are std Ultima sizes ?

Go for it Stig , I for one would love a passenger ride .....never know might tempt me back to a Ultima
