Durametric Pro. Just a one off cost?

I was considering getting a Durametric (Enthusiast version), but given that it only supports 3 individual vin entry's it would probably be more cost effective to go for the Pro version - I have been known to change cars quite frequqntly!

My question is, once purchased, would it have an indefinite life with no future costs for software updates etc?

They do a Pro kit in the US that lacks the lead for the old cars. That's the one I have.

Yep, the Option 3 is what I'd go for - a single cable. From memory $675.

Was thinking of holding out for a refurb one initially. No availability right now but they said try again in a couple if weeks. Approximately 20% less.
