I just wondered how worthwhile this was? It appears to be about £35 to join for the year but im unsure how worthwhile the benefits are? As a member can you take guests into the ACO enclosure, if so up to how many and is it worth it?

Can't remember the exact costs (I ponce my ACO entry off a mate!) but I think it was around £90-100 which got you the book and posters etc. sent out, the discounts for tickets and advance purchase, and free entry in to the village/enclosures - you can take three guests who have to pay E15 each.

Yep. Passion 24 VIP is what you want. I will be joining soon in preparation for next year. Works out to about £86The Leaper said:

+1 - they also have a members only area up at Dunlop.R.
I have a lower grade... Serenity got entry tickets for 54€ and camping for 47€ in the ACO enclosure which I thought was a bargain... plus access to the two enclosure with free showers and lockers.. plus free Internet access in the eencloure at Dunlop... phone charging facilities - good food at reasonable prices - TV's so I think it is a great deal...

The one thing that annoys me about ACO membership is that you get two membership cards, one for me and one for my wife. She never comes but my son always does, but he cannot use my wife's card! So he has to pay to get into the Dunlop Bridge ACO enclosure (he usually sneaks into the ACO tribune as the check procedure is not as strict). Why cannot the ACO issue two cards, one for the member and one for the member's guest whoever that person may be?

if your wife never comes to lemans with you can you not just change the name on the card next time you renew?R.
I got the Passion VIP membership @ the track this year, should have cost 102 euros, but was on discount for 86 euros. I also could have got a grandstand ticket for 10 euros (tribune 12 i think it was for), but had already purchased one in advance. Also added the missus onto membership for nothing so wont have to pay 15 euros for her next year.
Used both ACO member areas, had a nice hot shower on Sunday morning, cheap beer (4 euros) and food, bargain (I think anyway!!)

I don't think so. I think the ACO membership is automatically for one's self plus partner. If anyone knows different I'd be pleased to hear about it.

So the solution is to put your son down as your partner, if they question you just point out that same sex marriage is legal in britain and france and that your partner has taken your surname as proof R.

My son is 34 and they let him in. First tried to bluff his way into the Welcome on my wife's card early on Sunday morning, that didn't work but they just asked he he was financially dependent on me. Said yes (he isn't) and they gave us the wristbands.R.
Back to the bigger question question of ACO membership, apart from the advantage of early applicatiuon for tickets, I found that it is a real benfit if you stay up all Saturday night - with the main stand and the Welcome area there is always somewhere warm & dry to go to (+ there are decents loos & showers).
