Gents ,

good morning.

The steering on the 200 is suffering from tight spots and general undrivability. Local mechanic soaked the uj in oil for a weekend and it is somewhat better but still not right. I have no probs with the old heavy steering but this is ridiculous and frankly scary/dangerous. Where would i get a new uj as my one is knackered? The 200 being the poverty model it's non-pas , obviously I have arms like arnie as a result.Obviously.

I'm pretty sure I got mine from David Gerard. Can't remember the guys name but he was very helpful. He got me to take a few measurements over the phone and I got the correct one first time. There are several variants apparently.

Not cheap though I think it was 60 quid?

Karl.

Hi Glynn..The pinto is a very tuneable engine and doesnt cost the earth..A kent cam and some head work and its a real flyer!..As said David gerald..I think his name was doug who i spoke to..They normally require the length of the UJ and the OD of both connecting rods..Also check and replace if needed the bulkhead bush..You might as well if the column has to come apart...Hope you are well and it would be nice to see you again at the park..Cheers..Ziga
