Ha Ha.........your thinking this is another Jockman thread now aren't you,but you'd be Oooooooo Soooooo wrong so let me expand.

I fell into the evil clutches of the dreaded Porsche Salesman who forced and tricked me into returning to a darker side,so I patiently awaited the arrival
of the new Piglet which appeared on the drive about mid March and in my honesty I announced the 3rd coming of a P car to all on this forum to some dismay
and the usual p*ss taking and the light hearted banter ensued.

Well lets update the situation and travel forward to today where apon I'm pleased to announce that the Piglet, that had been given it's chance, continued
to play me up and has finally paid the ultimate penalty and has been F**ked off wense it came.

So my world is once again "barring any unforeseen dilemma" a Porsche free zone.........I thank you.

Now I don't want that to affect my chances in any annual or monthly awards for being a cock but it does feel an awful lot better after witnessing the stately
Hever gathering at the weekend, so after much consideration my return to this Planet is near complete as we await the registration of my new all singing, all
dancing, V8 Vantage S Roadster.

I shall be away for some holidays shortly to get over my turmoil but apon my return and its arrival the usual Photo's and spec will be provided as is customary.

Happy Days..........Ed.thumbup

Hi Phil,

Went new from a AM Dealer I didn't of know before, really motivated and keen to do business,a pleasure no pissing around on figures just
a straight forward approach and one that I prefer rather than the bid a note and squabble routine.

I did find a cracking DBS Volante at a Bentley Dealer thats beautiful and was offered an unbelievable deal to purchase it so if anyones looking PM
me for details and the Salesman contact number.......you won't be sorry.

Nearly went for it myself but its not what we really wanted for our touring needs, so I think we've settled for our ideal solution in the V8 Vantage S Roadster
which seems to offer the perfect balance between Sports car and Touring car with a nice V8 rumble thrown in for good measure.

Where's Paddy........

Hi Geoff,

No flies on me, to be honest I got a bit fed up waiting on deals that never materialised so I took the bull by the horns and sorted it..........yes

Hi Ed, curious as to what the issues were with the Porsche, I presume it was a new Boxster?

Hi, Steve.

Not being known for my patience with motors that play me up I just lost the flavour for it really and to be honest I missed my Aston
and should have got back in one ages ago instead of pissing about with other brands....you live and learn.

The issues are on the Boxster thread and with on going patience maybe could have been overcome but I lost the will with what is a lovely
little sports car.

All that said I've still got an unused indoor cover for it still in the bag and a set of rubber floor mats looking for a good home.........if you fancy them.

By the way it was a new 981s registered mid March and yes that depreciation stings,.irkedbut thats the car game.

ED50, the S club is the place to be! About 3 weeks ago I though about a new 911GT3 for about 12 hours then thought "Why". I love the whole Aston Martin thing. The damned car seems to take over our lives like no other; so we have our second V8S. Only problem at the moment is getting the new one up to "Purdey Spec" and beyond. That car was phenomenal and more. When you contact BR ask for your new baby to be enhanced the same as Purdey, you will be amazed! Tell them Robgt sent you.

Hi Tony,

Didn't manage to grow the gonads this time but hopefully they'll drop with age and it'll be a DBS/Vanquish next time round.

Thanks for the "still young bit" as it does offer encouragementrolleyes

Hope you remember me Rob...??? it all started off with me,Rob and Willie Carson at Millbrook!.

Pleased you got over your automotive disaster and have restarted the adventure, I'm sure Pearl will soon be everything you lost and more.
I look forward to the S Club as that now covers all the modern day Vantages that will have graced our garage.I'm pleased you dismissed the GT3
as I think you've found your automotive spiritual home with Aston Martin and this forum is so much more fun, friendly and factual than the Porsche
side IMO.
GT3's a great car but I don't think it would have been as an enjoyable ownership experience as you are currently enjoying least to say
the savings you've made on potential chiropractors bills after its shaken your bones for a month or two.

Kind regards to Molly and maybe I can now attend some does now that I've managed to sort out my own motoring dilemmasthumbup
