Furniture Clinic kit on vinyl seat backs?
Discussion
Hi,
In the process of using a Furniture Clinic kit to recolour my seats that are leather faced and vinyl backed.
I've used the leather prep fluid (smells like nail varnish remover) on the leather facings and now plan to rub them AND the vinyl parts with 1200 grit sandpaper. I did not use the leather prep fluid on the vinyl.
Once I've sanded the leather and vinyl I hope that will be a sufficient 'key' for the colourant to attach to before I spray the gloss/Matt finish seal over the top.
Is this the right process for the vinyl?
Thanks.

I used (on their recommendation) the Furniture Clinic adhesion promotor and crosslinker-x products on the vinyl parts of my interior and they still perfect after more than 6 months of regular use.
