Does anyone have pictures of how the bonnet release should be set up.
My Car currently has two levers protruding into the cockpit through a cut slit.
Can't imagine this being original.

Original.........! Exactly the same as my 78 Taimar.

Standard...the later cars have a modified version of the same, that gets rid of the handles and has a single spring (on the opposite side to the pull handle that need careful setting up of the nearest one) that gets rid of the slots.

Really?!
It looked so rough I automatically assumed someone must have bodged it.

Thanks guys, looks like I only have to replace the seals then.

They did bodge it. It's an original, factory bodge.
