Centering my wiper stop (hope this is not a repeat)

So for some time now, I've been hoping to make this small change to the car, but not having constructed it, I'm not quite sure how to go about it. And pardon if this question is a repeat from something similar some time back (search did not help me).
I'd like to move the stop point of the center-mounted windshield wiper to the center of the windshield. Right now it stops on the right side of the windshield (this is a U.S. car in CA) almost right in the passengers line of sight. I'd like it to stop in the vertical position right in the center splitting the view in half so that I and passenger have a near equal view and when I mount my Sony Action-Cam on the passenger side, it can get a decent view down the road.
This should be a simple thing, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Obviously just swiveling the arm on the shaft will not do it as it will turn in a different part of a circle. I want it to sweep the same area but just stop in a different (center of windshield) spot.
Can anyone help?

Remove the wiper, mark the wiper shaft and see if it works before trying with the wiper on.

to reposition the lever on the motor shaft you need to remove the motor from the car.
I dont´t think it is possible to do it under the dash.

Thanks. Lots of car events and shows over the next 6-8 weeks in the area so I'll leave this to an autumn project (along with having the seats re-upholstered). But thanks folks and any other tips would be appreciated.

So since I launched this thread, it appears that my wiper system has passed away. Now I have to start looking for the point of failure. But I believe it's the motor as it died when I accidentally hit the wiper switch while the car was parked, running and the windshield was dry. It dragged itself to the other side of the windshield (right in front of my eyes) and stopped. Hope it's just the fuse, but it not, I may be finding the opportunity to modify the settings on a new motor drive real soon now.
I don't actually need the wiper and was considering removing it and going with Rain-Ex should I ever get caught in the rain (this is California after all and so it is quite predictable). Think how much faster the car will be!

I've still have a bit of road to go before I get to that part of the build, but I was wondering if a complete change of wiper and arm system might be a different way to go. Something like the Koenigsegg set-up. It looks very much like the wiper system as fitted in older Mercedes Benz W202 'C' type vehicles. I know as I have two of them. The curvature of the Ultima screen may be a limiting factor however.
