... know the provenance of this car? ... Or can offer any reason why it's been for sale for a relatively long time?? confused

Any thoughts or insight would be very gratefully received smile

Thanks

It's ridiculously overpriced? Possibly the most expensive T350 (C&T) for sale? It's not that inspiring a colour?

This may be a difficult concept to grasp but not everyone wants a TVR in a lurid colour that screams 'look at me' - some of us prefer more subtle understatement.

Colour is very subjective - when I was looking for mine, I had it in my head that I wanted something that 'stood out' - in fact my first choice was a chameleon orange one but it was sold before I got back from the US.

When I started looking in earnest after that disappointment, I wasn't keen initially keen on the car that i eventually bought until I saw it in the flesh but for me, it 'just worked' and after checking condition and provenance I bought it later that week.

Agree with the other points however.

Seems daft money to me.. Sure it is a lovely car though to back it up.

I looked at this car for someone about 5-6 months ago at Castle and spoke with Ben about it. Can't remember all the details, but it was one of the last made or something from the factory. Looked in very good nic, nothing obviously wrong. I might have an email somewhere from the time of my "report", but doubt it.

So, 4-6 months ago it was a nice looking car. Priced highly as Castle usually do, it had some sort of special providence. Started up and ran fine. Leather looked good.

Not seen it since, but it has been standing around for a while, so could do with a bit of TLC I guess.

Thanks for your responses, certainly food for thought!

Alex - if you do have a copy of the 'report' it would be much appreciated...!
