That Cat D Sag must be something really special. I see its gone up another £3k.

By my reckoning it increases in value by around £1k per month.

If at first you don't sell it, increase the value and make it look more perfect than it was already.

Yes, old trick that. tongue out

It's over two and a half years since I offered to buy that Sag off the guy who sold it to TargetBV... It's not turned a piston in anger in all that time !!!

Seen some before and after pictures of that car and ones taken on an inspection...it's going to only sell at a low price or its going to collect dust. Barge pole comes to mind after seeing the pictures at the price they are asking.

Graham, why do you think it is taken longer to sell Sags now, thay used to be on here for a few days, now they are on here for months and twice as many as normal, is it people just cashing in.???????

If this weather continues convertibles (Tuscan and Tam) prices will go through the roof ... which of course can be removed unlike a Sag smile .

Only 8 straight UK Sags for sale, I can't see any of these non dealer cars selling for less than £45k unless the seller is really desperate, also prices will only go higher in the long run so if you are lucky enough to pick one up for £45k go for it smile

Unless you are a trader or really desperate, it really isn't the time to sell a sag with so many on the market. By potential sellers all putting their cars on the market at the same time all it does is end up lowering the prices.

Asked a pal who is in the trade why he thought sag prices was coming down, his reply was:

"Why spend 55K on a second hand 7 year old car when the new ones will be 50 - 80K?"

He seems to think that the anouncement of a comback has effected the prices, wondered what everybody elese thoughts are on this ??

Private Sags have been around £45/50k for some time, no matter how many people talk down the market you ain't going to get a good cheap one, any new Tvr will not effect Sag prices just like any new M3 doesn't effect old CSL prices as they also continue to rise, if any new Tvr has a crate engine then prices of all Tvr engined cars will rise and become the most sort after.
