2005 997 2S Engine

Had my car for 6 months now and have clocked up 4000 miles, loved every one of them! I am completely non mechanically minded but would love to learn more about my cars mechanicals and in particular the engine.
Can anyone recommend anything to help me in terms of web sites, books, articles etc.

Thanks for the responses, I am fully aware of the "potential" pitfalls of the M97 engine and have set aside a budget for an engine rebuild at some future date. I will also upgrade the IMS bearing when the clutch needs replacing. What I am looking for is an idiots guide to my car with drawings or photographs describing the various components. Maybe it doesn't exist!
