One of the sub-ledgers at the bank I'm working at failed to post to the general ledger last night (this is quite a big deal ... shit/fan moment, headless chickens, etc.).
We looked in the log file \xxxxxxsubledger.log to see if there were any useful error messages. The log file only contained one entry, "Critical Error: access to \xxxxxxsubledger.log denied".
