New roll bars. Total pain to fit.

Just fitted a new set of roll over bar covers in brushed aluminium effect, they look loads better than the standard black ones, but what a total pain the the ass to fit. After 45 minutes of trying to clip the 2 pieces back together i gave up and looked for another solution. I ended up having to cut some of the plastic from the inside, this worked a treat and they clipped together easily. Has anyone else had problems fitting these? if so what was your solution?

You think that's difficult? Try fitting a six point carbing cage. I had to cut the parcel shelf and drill holes on the chassis amongst other things.
