The £10k Fleet

Family car: Mondeo ST 220 with 65k and all the good stuff inside.



Commuting car: BMW 530i with only 1 owner and 72k and FBMWSH.



General duties: Discovery 2 TD5. Has had most of the usual bits done. I like the straight through pipe for that turbo whistle.

lol - pretty much the same. Isuzu trooper for the grunty stuff, a 5 series for the nice stuff, and an A4 Tdi for the general bumming about stuff. Perfect (except for the tax VED bill).

Could you get by with 2 of those, and a weekend toy?

The Land Rover is coming with me to the Falklands to use there and may well stay there. However, I am coming quite attached to it. Will be buying myself a toy when I come back and perhaps another bike as I have sold mine recently.

2001 Honda Blackbird with only 12k on the clock! Also pictured was my C320 CDI - great car.

Nice drive in the Discovery to a County Show today - climate not working so roofs and windows open through the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Loads of bikes out today of all shapes and sizes. Cracking day for it.

Big fan of the Discovery, not so much the nudge bars, and it looks like an ES too, nice choice, I dearly miss mine

what do you think of the number plates? naff or ok, even though i bought them £250 each im still not sure

I meant XJR - must be the heat!

I think the plates are fine - a bit of fun for a few quid. One of the chaps near me has 3 x Volvos (all new) with R100, R200 and R300 plus their initials and it looks rather good. I have never bought one as the Discovery came with them. Closest was my old TVR with OIL 6246 which looks private but is actual Irish.
