So what's this all about then ? I can see a discrepancy in the mileage of both adverts.
Looks very similar to an example I viewed for sale in Nottingham about 2 years ago.

Just what I was thinking. There is another white example with grey leather for £12k at the moment, and that's been marked down a couple of times over time.Maybe the 944 bubble of the past few years is deflating ?
What 944 bubble? Prices are pretty low and stagnant relative to 911s of the same era. Someone in pcgb had a look at the white one with grey interior......lets just say he didn't bother test diving it. Not sure what Buchanan is up to. He sold a car. Bloke said he bought it off him and it needed lots of work (statement of fact). Not sure why he is upset

Cabs have probably peaked but the few really good turbo coupe's wont be under £10k in a couple of years, I don't think they're investment material though. blade7 said:

Just a generalisation really. Advertised prices for 944's seem higher now than when I bought mine many years ago. I know there not making anymore of 'em so to speak, maybe the 911 thing has dragged them up. But you always see the same old cars knocking around I the classifieds, some times for years (come on people, smell the coffee !). As the old saying goes, the good cars get sold to fellow enthusiasts without ever being advertised.

Not sure. I was feeling the pull of a early 996TT but buying one and putting it right if it went bang are two entirely different prospects 
. To me the TT is so planted it doesn't feel all that quick until it's doing very big speeds and I don't know if that makes a fun weekend road car. It has been known for a 944T to make 400+ bhp too
