I need someone with a bit of Pc knowledge to help post photo from bretts site the photo is under ZR1 modifications,Cliffs engine ,bottom left photo 3rd bolt down from the right hand head at the end of the webbing you can see a small hole in the front engine casing this is where the leak is!
It was there all the time.

Yes thats it now if you look at the right hand head go down from the middle front edge of the head,think its the 3rd bolt down where the water pump bolts to the front casing ,if you look at the end of the bolt web you will see a hole ,can you highlight the hole,Thanks.

I think I can see the hole. Excuse my ignorance, but should you have a hole there or has someone been a bit keen with the good old Black & Decker.

No richard you are quite right the hole should NOT be there,it was overlooked by the professional engine builders. (explains oil p*****g out all over the place and incompetent engine builders slapping mastic all over the engine because they knew there was a leak somewhere but did not bother to see where it was coming from.

Thanks for that Tekwiz,hopefuly once ive fitted a new front cover thats the end of my oil leak problems.
