Milometer not working

Help please, my speedo is working fine but the milometer has not worked for a few months. Car is TVR S2. Anyone got any ideas

Not had problem on the S , but previously when the mileage was reading a 9, that meant two sets of number carosels had to move they seemed to move apart from positioned next to each other, solved with a "light" tap to the dashboard.

Yes, Mike is correct, mine was stuck on last digit 9. Tried tapping the speedo as Mike said, but no luck. Mine freed itself after driving along a bumpy road!
