I live a couple of miles from Lakeside shopping centre, Thurrock.
Last night there was an event, "Lakeside Lockdown", basically over 2000 cars attended, mainly boy racer types.
BUT....there was a TVR 390 SE that did a drive through
I must say the attention my 390 SE got was unreal (my little lad loved it too ).
We drove slowly around the car park with lots of admiring comments and looks....
"Wow, TVR.......awesome mate"....."Rev it mate........"....."she's looking good mate for an old girl........"

As we were leaving, adrenalin took over (I'm old enough to know better ! ) "go on dad, wheelspin it" asked my co-pilot, I duly obliged and left a number 11 with a few cheers

Maybe next time we could arrange a few of us to go.
But in all honesty it is more of a youngsters/boy racers (booming sub woofers etc. etc.) event but as I live so near I thought why not
