Best Route Goodwood to Chichester and Vice Versa?

We're staying in Chichester Friday and Saturday, Google Maps is giving me 3 routes there from Goodwood. Can anyone local advise which one would be the best option trafficwise - looks like 1 or 2 would be preferable to 3? Or is there a better way?

If you are leaving fairly early, I would take route B. It misses off the A27 so should be ok
I think that the road across from East Lavant on route A gets closed or is at least marked closed.

Yup A is closed. I always go B, it's not too bad at all.

Not least as you'll probably actually be heading for the car parks near the golf course - unless you've got other parking arranged or are walking/cycling.
