Radiator does not fit
Discussion
I can remember that my first radiator install was a no brainer, but on the green car, although
I have aligned the bottom fixings correctly, the radiator protudes too far in the front,
which has actually resulted in one rubber to split.
You could drill the hole closer but it would still not lign up, is this a one off problem, or
is the radiator simply too big recently ?
Maybe I am too stupid to drill the holes correctly but any nearer to the radiator and you cannot
operate the wrench anymore.

I tweaked the steel tabs and elongated both top and bottom holes to get a better fitting. Hmm, your photo does not look right at all, so I can't understand what is wrong.
The space is indeed quite tight at the bottom and I can only get an open headed 8mm spanner in there. You do need some patience to get everything nice and tight.

Recently replaced the rad in my GTR due to bird strike (or pheasant actually)! Old rad was 3 core, new is 4 core and 25mm thicker - this caused a few niggling problems. Don't use rubber mounts - too flexible, so bolted solid using alloy spacers on the lower mounts - the mounting plate on the rad sits as low as possible on the floor panel. Had to space upper front mountings to position correctly, then had to remove a significant amount of GRP on the underside of the front clip (shroud air flow exit) to clear rad and fans!!! All good fun, but then mine is the first GTR and everything is pretty much a one off. The good news, the 4 core rad is much better at cooling my modified SBC - even had to up the thermostat to raise the temp? A few pics on www.trevorwillardracing.co.uk under TWR GTR 2013.
