......possibly test driving this week to cure any itches but I cannot see it having the sheer explosive theater as the Noble.

So, I see you've posted a new pic now...

It'd be the Nob for me, which I feel still holds its Aston-like shape and modern look (never mind the performance). Hovever, it has to be down to what you like.

I like the rear of the Exige, the wing and rear diffuser looks the biz.

One thing I want to do is change the diffuser on the nob.I'd prefer more a chunky one compared to the new thin metal ones you can get.

see pic if you catch my drift.

I would be interested in your opinion of the Exige as I intend to swap the Noble for one in a few years time (when the 400bhp upgrade has been tried and tested) wink

The Fist nobles were 2001 i think, so it is now an old design

it was done using clay iirc and most modern cars are not done this way - certainly not from a large manufacturer

I think the Noble is aging nicely, it will be a classic over time

I shall let you know, it would have to be absolutely mind-bendingly and utterly staggering for me to part with the noble.

With a 3.5 lump in it, the power you could achieve with possibly a new supercharger plus other bits could be epic, 400bhp shouldn't be to hard no?

But then again the noble has even more tuning potential......it would really have to come down to a change for something different I guess. (no hot cabin etc etc)

There is no doubt the Noble is a cult classic already and yes there is not other like it looks wise.
It does have a sort of timeless look about it.

It's an interesting choice, I was thinking about a noble and was offered tux's car for 18k, but I held off. Test drove the new exige and it blew me away. Hopefully taking delivery in 4 weeks. Did you try it, what were your thoughts?

I shouldn't think so his car is probably worth double that and I should think would obliterate that exige laugh

Unfortunately due to work I didn't get out in it, will be this week hopefully.

However, last week I was taken out in a 720bhp 628ft Ultima gtr so any anything after that is going to feel like a ford feista in comparison :0 It has made me want to stick with the Noble and aim for 500 ish bhp.

Yes that would romp the Exige, would imagine that was the price before all the work etc still low tho for a Nob

Just to clarify, it was obviously before tux bought it, it was silver then.
