Inspection

I need a qualified VAT registered inspector to report on a engine problem. If anyone can help and point me in the direction of someone reliable then please let me know, thank chaps. Must be south London

RAC or AA do inspections or google is your friend .

I think it's a way of separating a 'real' company from a mate from the pub.

If they are vat registered they can be tracked, asked to go to court, asked to provide copies of the report etc.

VAT registered is a stipulation from the finance company, as previously mentioned to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Well thanks for the insults. I have deliberately de-registered for VAT and kept my turnover to the limit. I did this because it makes me so much more competitive, particularly as my business is so labour intensive. The increased VAT rate of 20% is utterly scandalous.

Just for the record I am a qualified engineer with over 40 years experience, numerous very happy customers and many referrals.

All the grossly incompetent main dealers whose poor work I have to deal with on a daily basis are VAT registered.

I rest my case.
