I need a qualified VAT registered inspector to report on a engine problem. If anyone can help and point me in the direction of someone reliable then please let me know, thank chaps. Must be south London
I'm sorry, I must be missing something here. What has VAT registration got to do with it?Edited by V12 Migaloo on Monday 8th July 14:59

I think it's a way of separating a 'real' company from a mate from the pub.J
If they are vat registered they can be tracked, asked to go to court, asked to provide copies of the report etc.

Just for the record I am a qualified engineer with over 40 years experience, numerous very happy customers and many referrals.
All the grossly incompetent main dealers whose poor work I have to deal with on a daily basis are VAT registered.
I rest my case.
