so what do you reckon on this under the rear clam?
Seems an all round winner bar one - 150 lbft of torque less. Same BHP, dry sump, sequential box, smaller, lighter, no red hot turbos, in line, 150-200kg weight saving.

Same BHP but no chance of twisting the wick up for more horses. Lack of torque will be a big issue. Weight's going to muck up the handling.

But 11,000RPM V8. Sign me up!

Yeah lack of torque will be an issue, as is the fact that its gonna be 14k ish IIRC?

Be interesting to see how robust it is. Its based on two bike engines with a new bottom end and various other changes if its one of the ones I've read about previously. Bike engines don't last all that long, especially when put into cars.

Believe me - this one will last. As for the lack of torque, they are planning a 3 litre model, and you won't notice anything lacking while you've got the engine spinning at 9,000+ rpm. They're also doing a 2 litre that'll rev to 14,000!

I'm sure it can be turbocharged in time too, but would you ever feel the need...

Yep agree it will be fine when in the powerband. Doesn't seem too suited to a roadcar though (not that the radical is obviously).

With regards to lasting, proof is in the pudding & etc

So you getting one?
